• It’s crazy-easy to clean thanks to its built-in, almost flat ‘tray’ bit.
• It folds away in 2 easy moves, meaning my kitchen doesn’t have to look like a nursery 24 hours a day.

The Cleaner Sleep Micro Pocket Spring Mattress has been given Gold in the Mother & Baby Awards, Best Sleep Product category.

This is the perfect mattress for little ones who suffer from asthma or dust mite allergies because the quilted cover is made with Amicor luxury anti-microbial fabric, to prevent allergens and dust mites. The cover is water-resistant and removable for machine washing at 60℃.

Inside there’s a micro pocket spring unit wrapped in superior-grade dent-resistant foam, giving premium comfort and support. It has a waterproof membrane that can be moved to give protection from liquid where it's needed.

We’re so proud to be selected as one of the finalists in these prestigious awards. The selections are made by real parents and babies who test the samples, so it’s really good to know that they liked our mattress.

2018 Progressive Preschool Awards Shortlist

We have great news – the ‘For Little Adventures’ travel collection from Silvercloud has been shortlisted in the Progressive Preschool Awards.

The range includes three changing bags made in grey cotton canvas with brown leatherette trim, to suit any parent:

The Satchel Changing Bag and Tote Changing Bag are roomy styles with large internal pockets; both include a travel changing mat and bottle holder.

East Coast Nursery Makeover

Francesca at Fall For DIY has shared photos of her beautiful new nursery, including our Liberty furniture.

She’s created a warm, dreamy room full of colourful details to inspire her little boy.

Naturally, Francesca added some DIY details to make the room unique, and this included swapping the handles on the furniture.

2018 Mother & Baby Awards

We’re celebrating our success at the Mother & Baby Awards!

Given the Silver award for Best Cot, the East Coast Carolina Cot 20% smaller than a standard cot.

It’s not always easy for parents to fit a cot in their room for the first six months, so the space-saving size of the Carolina makes it ideal. Then when baby moves into their own room, their bed will still feel familiar. It’s also a great choice for a grandparents’ house or a small nursery. The Carolina is supplied complete with a foam mattress. It’s available in five colours: antique, white, grey, pink, and blue.



We also received a Bronze award for our Folding Highchair. This bestselling product is made of solid rubberwood and is available in a choice of three colours: natural, white, and white/grey.

Progressive Preschool Outstanding Achievement 2017

Eric White, chairman of East Coast Nursery, won the outstanding achievement award at the Progressive Preschool awards 2017.

The annual industry awards programme focuses on the market for products for families at nursery and preschool level.



Mr White received a standing ovation as he made his way to the stage at the awards, which were held at the Dorchester Hotel in London, and attended by over 400 professionals from the industry.

The outstanding achievement award recognised Mr White’s dedication and commitment to East Coast and to the nursery industry as a whole.

In his emotional acceptance speech, Mr White paid tribute to his wife, Gloria, who has remained by his side as he devoted his life to the East Coast Group family business since the 1960s, becoming managing director of the company in the 1970s.

2017 Right Start Awards

We’re thrilled to announce that “Say Hello” To Tummy Time was awarded Silver in the Right Start Awards, Best Baby Essentials.

The awards are judged by parents and babies. One tester commented:

“Lovely quality, comfortable and a good size – nice and roomy but it works in smaller spaces. The crinkles are a favourite and the features are fun for both newborns and older babies.”
